Just as it sounds, distance healing can be accomplished at a distance. Prayer is the simplest form of distance healing, and it has been demonstrated that prayer is effective in facilitating healing (see The Power of Water, by Masuru Emoto and The Field by Lynne McTaggart).
Distance Healing is also called “Remote Healing” or “Distant Healing”
An energy healer connects with the person or animal through the matrix that quantum physicists are calling the “unified field”, and provides healing effectively regardless of whether they’re across the room or, technically, across the universe.
How does distance healing work?
There are many ways one might understand how distance healing works. Much of our everyday experience already involves the transfer of energy over long distances – satellites are just one example. There are energies all around us travelling at great speeds in short amounts of time such as radio and electromagnetic waves. The energy used by healers is a subtle life-force energy that travels instantaneously on a wavelength faster than the speed of light. It travels via the focused intention of the healer through the quantum or unified field directly to the animal, person, plant or situation (Vibrational Medicine, Richard Gerber, MD).
From another perspective, since we are all a part of the field, or what is otherwise called consciousness, it is not necessary for energy to “travel” anywhere. Some physicists describe the universe as a hologram, where the whole is already contained in every part. Time and distance are only concepts that help us to define and categorize our reality.
